The current PWM explanation is very unclear, I've edited in some questions to the parts that are unclear and/or incomplete.

Agree. There are different lasers and power supplies that require different inputs.
Will try to make sens of it.

How to connect the power supply was still a mystery but I think Daid and I figured it out. Please check the power supply image and confirm if it's correct.

slowly the wiki is getting updated; since this is the nature of a wiki, I will close this bug... btw Peter, thanks for you pic, this helps a lot for the older version of the HPC3020...
