LAOS Laser

Hey all,

I'd just like to report another working conversion of a K40 to laoslaser :)

Thanks to Jaap for the super-fast dispatch - I ordered the kit one Thursday lunchtime and it arrived here in the UK Saturday morning. I had it built and basically working by that evening but was held up by the PSU which went pop as I was setting the stepper current; no more 24V. There is a replacement apparently en-route from China but I eventually got bored and replaced the schottky diode that failed myself.

I have PWN working ok and created ticket 88 to see if the laser idle power can be set low, rather than the 100% it is at the moment when not running a job. My test button fires the laser regardless of the state of interlocks!
