Yes, this is intentional, because there is no undo for removals. I'll clean up the duplicates, it's no big deal really. You can replace and override an image by uploading it again with the same name.

no rollback option is bad ;-)

But are u sure about the replace method (because i did try that but i got a new id)

New attachment ID is fine - it should still cause Redmine to pick the last submitted version.

In this case, it looks like you submitted the same size image again.

Sad but true :-)
I wil upload the new versions then (when U have time) can remove they old ones
