Maybe we should discuss the definition of the word "cutting" here... it has a 100mW laser. Cutting thin sheets of paper, when the color is dark enough?

True, he points that out himself in the movie. But to demonstrate the ideas behind digital fabrication it might be excellent.
(I think they upgraded to 200mW btw)
