Assembling board : lead or no lead ?

Hi everyone

I received my Laos kit and will solder the components.
The board will drive an HX3040 laser.
A dumb question : should I use leaded or unleader solder ?

It doesn't matter. Just don't mix lead and leadfree. Use what you have available as long as it's meant for electronics and not for water pipes :-)

That being said, lead-free is better for your health, and with lead is a little easier to solder for beginners.

Hi! I'm building a LAOS v4 board for my local Hacker Space here in Sheffield... Does anyone have an image/pic of finished board with all the connectors on for HPC 6840 machine?
I'm stuggling with the required on board connectors.
