setting 'Origin' cause axis over run

Added by depronman almost 10 years ago

Hi, When using the display panel to move to a position using the joystick the Y direction is the wrong way around which I appreciate is a known bug.
When I have 'jogged' to the correct position, and then set this as 'origin', then change back to the 'move' menu the display correctly shows the X & Y values as zero. However if I then either try to move from this position or start a job from this position the Y axis crashes in to the very top of the machine.

This is preventing the use of a very nice feature (Origin)
Is this a bug or something that I am doing wrong ?

Best regards,
Paul

I never use this feature, I would recommend looking into this setup:

Hi Peter,
I've had a few tries at installing Visicam under windows 7, both 32 & 64 versions. I have followed the instructions under the windows section and as far as I can see I have done what the instructions said, but I cannot get Visicam to do anything. Is there a step by step guide or better still a video of how to set up Visicam under windows ?

Any help as always much appreciated.
Paul

No I'm afraid there isn't.
As long as there is a cmdline tool VisiCam can use to take the snapshot it should be easy. Something like mjpg streamer. Using Windows makes this more difficult.
